Cockroach eggs

I'd like to share to you something thats been bothering me a lot. Cockroaches. I hate them. Though they are part of God's creation, I can't seem to find even the tiniest part within me to empathize for this insect. They just look so scary.

I just bought a new extra large can of Baygon to protect me from the evil cockroaches and got a "Glade" air freshener for free! Anyway, we have lots of cockroaches here at the office and even though I've killed tons of them already, they seem to be multiplying even more.

Today, I found out why. I saw a particular black bean below my table and when I asked my cousin what it was, he told me it was cockroach eggs!! And I also found out that what used to be inside the little egg is 7 baby cockroaches!!

This is what the egg looks like:

The ones I see under my table are the American ones even though I'm in the Philippines. Haha! They are very tiny and they actually look like coffee beans. You won't even see the white part below it. Anyway, my cousin said that seven baby cockroaches comes out of one bean and what makes it harder to find them is that they are transparent. Their color only starts to comes out when they grow older. (So that's why little cockroaches have lighter skin!)

Anyway, talking about it makes me want to barf so I'll stop. I wanted to post a few cockroach pictures but I'm afraid it might scare some of my readers so I decided otherwise.

nomnom

I've been craving for food a lot lately, I have no idea why. People know me as someone who eats 5 cups of rice a meal, and I'm not exaggerating. I love food! I can't live without them, well yes, technically I can't. But emotionally, food is my comfort. I find happiness in food. Food is.. Aahh. :)

So I just wanted to share a few of my cravings for the past weeks, food I can't wait to get a hold of. Food I would gladly chomp on if they were to be laid out in front of me. Unfortunately, they aren't and I'm not happy about it. What do I have to do to get my hands on to these??

1. BIG Seafood Cup Noodle (emphasis on BIG).

Noodles has always been my first love. Even before rice came into town. It's an innate quality I have, it's actually genetic and I got it from my grandma and my dad. We all love noodles, and I'm not talking about "beef wanton" noodles, but noodles like this one right here which I call "paw mi". Paw mi is famous for being bad for the health because manufacturers uses a certain "wax" to preserve the noodles inside every cup. Sadly, I DON'T CARE. Paw mi will always have the first place in my heart. But since I'm getting older, I've gotten a bit smarter because I don't want to die early. Though I would choose to eat paw mi my whole life, I can't because it's really bad for the health. Which is why I have gone to my second love -- rice. This explains why I eat a lot of rice, because one cup of rice cannot match the happiness I get from a cup of paw mi. It never will. So anyway, here in the Philippines, it's really hard to look for the BIG SEAFOOD CUP NOODLE because it's imported and people here are used to buying "Lucky Me" instead. So it's not quite a hit. So everytime I go abroad, I'd make sure to buy LOTS of it, enough to keep my baggage from being overweight.

2. Buncha Crunch

Oh, Buncha Crunch. I've never been a big fan of chocolate but Nestle has won me over when they came out with Buncha Crunch. Buncha Crunch is the same CRUNCH in chocolate bars, but in a different form --- tiny deformed chocolate bits. OOhhh. Looking at it makes my tummy church. What I really like about it is that it's crunchier that the usual chocolate bar because it's in bits so every bite you take makes a "CRUNCH" sound -- true essence of CRUNCH. :)

3. Hainanese Chicken Rice

I used to be so in love with Hong Kong's Roasted Duck with Rice that I would order that three times a day during my past Hong Kong trips. However, when I went to Singapore last year, something made me forget about roast duck and it's this chicken right here. HAINANESE. There hasn't been a day that I didn't think of this chicken. Oh I would pay just to eat you, Hainanese, and that's something I rarely do. I felt my prayers were answered when numerous Hainanese Restaurants started opening in different places here in the Philippines. However, I've had three failed attempts in getting my hands on this chicken. The first time, the restaurant was closed on that particular day. The second time, I didn't reach the cut-off for the "last order". And the third, just today, I arrived at the restaurant 10:15AM which was too early because they open at 11AM. I have no idea why these happened but nature has its way of making me suffer.

OH IF I COULD ONLY GET MY HANDS ON THESE.

Jejejejeggings

So another clothing I would also like to share to all of you are..

JEGGINGS!!! (Jeans + Leggings)

Aren't they awesome? I was walking around SM Makati one time when I set eyes on a mannequin wearing a pair of jeggings. My heart melted right away. It looked so good, it's fit so you'll definitely see the shape of you lower body. Plus, it looks sexy especially when worn with stilettos. It's also tight to the butt so it makes your ass look firm (which I definitely need since I have a huge ASSet). It'll definitely make you look like you have lean and long legs.

Anyway, so I had to try it right away. And I have to say.. IT WAS PUUURRRFECT. It made my legs look long and it definitely lifted up my butt. So it's a win-win for me.

I used to like wearing leggings, I have tons in my closet, but then it doesn't suit my body because it shows off my curves in an unflattering way due to its thin fabric. So when I discovered jeggings, AAAHH.. LOVE. And I know I'm not the only one. Here are some celebrities that LOVES jeggings as much as I do:

Kim Kardashian

Jessica Alba

Beyonce

Rachel Bilson

Charlize Theron

So, I encourage everyone to grab their own pair of jeggings NOW! I'm sure you'll love them, Hoochachas :)

Passion

I'd like to tell you all about my new passion. I never really liked it in the past though I often do it, but now, it's different. I think I'm in love with it already... TRAVELLING. (thus the background picture)

There are a lot of beautiful places in the world left unnoticed, and I want to be the one who appreciates them. I want to make em feel that "Hey, you're amazing. You may not know it now, but one day, you will capture the whole world with your beauty, I just know it."

So anyway, I've been to numerous Asian countries, but it's about time that I expand my horizons (except that I don't have the money for it). So let's expand my horizons next time. Till then, I can travel around the country. (Oh, for those of you who don't know, I live in the Philippines) I'm sure I haven't covered all 7,107 islands yet. After that, then I could probably move to continents. Who knows.

Before moving on, I'd like to share a few places in the Philippines that are just W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L. This includes: my recent discovery, The Underground River in Palawan. It was a beauty considering that you can't really see anything because it's inside a cave. But heck, what are flashlights for? It's a beautiful underground river located at Sabang, Palawan and it's the world's longest 'Navigable' underground river. Wait until you find out what you'll see inside. But I won't spoil it for you, I want you guys to find it out yourself. But for those who want to be spoiled, and those who HAVE gone to the underground river but forgot what it looks like, visit this link for a recap. :)

One place I've been wanting to go to is Sagada. I don't really know what you will see in Sagada, except for the oh-so-famous hanging coffins cause I haven't really been there yet. But I've heard it's really nice.

So anyway. I want to travel. I'll probably list down places I want to go to next, both locally and internationally. So for the meantime, bear with this post. Tata Hoochachas!

The Yellow Cardigan

Okay, here's the first thing that came to my mind after I posted my INTRODUCTORY message.

I badly want a yellow cardigan that looks exactly like this when worn:

I like clothes that are fit so that I won't look fat when I wear it. I also want it to be long enough to make my upper body look long. I don't know why but I'm starting to like cardigans. Maybe because it covers my HUGE arms and it keeps me warm. As of now, I only have black, violet, brown, and red... and a few other printed ones. So, yellow cardigan, I'm coming for you. Till then, Hoochachitas!

Introduction

Good Evening. :)

So, while I was sitting on the couch, reading the latest updates on facebook, something suddenly popped into my head: "I want to start a blog". And knowing myself, I followed my instinct. So here I am. Writing my thoughts away for all of you to read. Well, not really, because I've decided to keep this blog to myself. I have no plans of telling the whole world about it. Except for some special people. So if you are reading this, know that you are special. <3

I want to first talk about the title "My Hoochachas". Who knows what Hoochacha means? Well, I don't. It just suddenly entered my head while I was reading "What's your blogs title". Well I guess that's a sign, eh? Anyway, I'm not really good at blogging, because I like keeping things to myself.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, ENJOY MY HOOCHACHAS!
